CMC is the premiere mark for management consultants

WASHINGTON DC, February 3, 2003 -- Jon E. Seidel of EDP CONSULTING, INC. has been awarded the distinction of CMC (Certified Management Consultant) by the Institute of Management Consultants USA, Inc. (IMC USA). The CMC mark and the IMC USA’s Code of Ethics is especially important in these times of consulting turmoil. At this time, less than 1% of the consultants in the United States have been recognized with the CMC.

The CMC mark is only awarded to those select consultants who have demonstrated a history of substantive results for clients and have shown adherence to the IMC USA code of ethics and professional practice management. CMCs are acknowledged as leading experts in their fields, with track records of significant accomplishments in their consulting engagements. In order to maintain their status, CMCs must recertify every three years.

According to IMC USA’s National Board Chair, Norm Eckstein, CMC, “Clients who choose to use the services of CMCs can be assured with the knowledge that the consulting resource they’ve chosen has passed the toughest certification in the profession, and must maintain that degree of performance through periodic recertification.”
